Maria is a certified teacher of “Well Tempered Hatha Yoga – Eva Ruchpaul Method”. She completed simultaneously the three-year training programs (2007 – 2010) at the “Eva Ruchpaul Institute” in Paris, France (registered as a Teaching Establishment of Higher Level and acknowledged by the Academy of Paris) and at the “Hellenic Association of Hatha Yoga TM” in Athens, Greece.
Pioneer Eva Ruchpaul and a dedicated teaching team formed by certified teachers of her method and by experts in Indian philosophy and Sanskrit studies, in anatomy and physiology, in neuroscience, in anatomy of movement, in holistic therapies, in psychology and in quantum physics, guided the well-rounded training program.
Since 2010 until today, Maria participates in continuous teachers’ training programs and seminars organized by “Eva Ruchpaul Institute” in Paris. Similarly, she participated in the continuous training programs and seminars organized in Athens by the “Hellenic Association of Hatha Yoga TM”.

INTEGRAL TRANSFORMATIONAL YOGA is a system of Yogic practices inspired by the integral yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Follows the teachings of Sadhguru, a visionary, pragmatic, internationally leading spiritual teacher on practical philosophy and on the use of practices deriving from the science of Yoga and has completed the “Inner Engineering” program.
She attended the “Shamanic Wisdom & Sacred Mantras” program in Peru, jointly guided by Dr. Alberto Villoldo, internationally acclaimed medical anthropologist and contemporary shaman, Marcella Lobos, indigenous shamans, Deva Premal and MIten, as an initiation to the philosophy and traditional healing practices derived from the ancient Andean wisdom, subtly combined with the sounds of mantras derived from the Indian tradition.
Maria started teaching Yoga in 2009. Students are international and she offers private and group classes, live and online. Classes are given in Athens, and during the summer, on the cycladic island of Antiparos. She teaches in Greek, English and French, and is fluent in Italian and in Spanish.
From 2019 until today, she cooperates with Dr. MD Panayiota Antoniou, psychiatrist – psychotherapist of young kids, teenagers and adults, developing a healing method aiming to manage anxiety and stress of young adults, through the combination of psychotherapy and Yoga.
From 2015 until February 2020, she offered Yoga to mentally disabled adults in “Margarita Vocational Training Centre” in Athens, Greece.
From 2013 until 2018, she organized retreats of “Well Tempered Hatha Yoga” on the island of Antiparos.
Starting a new cycle of retreats, in May 2023 she organized a Yoga and Meditative Hiking retreat in the mountains of Zagorohoria in Northern Greece.
